Cafe Koa, a Hawaiian-themed restaurant in Southport, North Carolina, needed to establish a brand identity. The brand is energetic and friendly, and caters to those who embrace a casual, coastal lifestyle. The primary typeface is playful and reminiscent of hand-painted letters on a beach sign. For colors, I chose a vibrant palette with gradients that reference the blue-green of the ocean and yellow-pink of the sunset.
